On Feb. 17 my dad and brother and I snow-machined and snow-shoed into my brother's cabin behind Bear River Reservoir. The location is just over the ridge from Silver Lake south of Hwy 88, west of Kirkwood ski area. A storm blew in the night of the 17th and most of the day on the 18th.
